Nice.
Looks very clean and tidy.

Reminds me of one I looked at years ago, I wanted it as my first car!
Was a non runner at a local garage.
I was told in no uncertain terms by my dad - No bleedin chance!!

Always a regret.
Got a fully working TVR a few years ago though.

Its very nice its got its mot on monday. Everything works on it which is amazing and its only done 7000 miles in the last 19 years only thing is it seams a little slow i think it may be starved of fuel.

Looks tidy, but define slow? The 280 was never rocket-ship fast and if you're used to modern lightweight tin boxes with ample poke it'll feel a bit sluggish.

Looks pretty nice!!! Wheels would have to go IMO but I'd love to trade my 280i conv. for a coupe if only the ac was working. smile

congratulations!!! thats a quite nice and original example of an early tasmin. also very rare, but very helpful: it has a power steering fitted!!

please keep it original!!!!! maybe you will also find an original set of mirros for it, that would be the cherry on top!!

and the best thing: the car does not suffer from an cheapishuglyaftermarketpronetoleak sunroof!!!

how did you came to this car? was it advertized?

About 3 grand I'd say, if everything is in good order. smile

Looks lovely.

Mr.Comedyadis maybe a bit quick off the mark on the 'original' mirrors though.

(Pic of my old S1)...note the mirrors.

Lovely looking car, i must say (please don't take this as a critisism) that a nice set of wheels would really set that paintwork/colour off nicely !!
TVR wheels i mean, not something outta a bling catalogue !!
The lattice alloys perhaps ?

There is a limiting factor with those original type wheels too.

If you wanted to upgrade to Granada Estate vented type brakes, as fitted to my car above, they (original wheels) won't go over them.

Looking at that colour, howabout the ones 'chedder' has fitted ?

I think they'd look fantastic. cloud9

@grähähm: the mirrors on the wedges have always been a mistery......ok, maybe i´m wrong as your mirros look identical to the ones from the silver one, but is there any confirmation that those mirrors are the original ones?

from the style and shape they do not really match to the rest of these cars....so did TVR really made such a mismatch in stylistic devices?
