Been on the lookout for some spiders for my 4.5 for ages, but with no joy. Saw some new (standard) 17" cerbera 4.5 alloys advertised on the classifieds, in a very fetching gold colour. After much bu99ering about today, eventually met up with the chap today (having driven for an hour around M25)
I was assuranced that they were 'as new' with 'only a few miles on the rubber', and so I thought I was onto a winner.
Imagine my disappointment when I saw them - yes, they looked great, but the rubber had seen around 6000 miles, one tyre had a screw in it, they all wobbled on a gentle roll in the car park, and one wheel had around a 10mm wide and 1-2mm deep groove rubbed into the inner of the wheel
!!
Pristine my harris
!!!
Oh yes, and can anyone guess how long it takes to push 70 £10 notes back into a cash machine
