Leaky radiator

So it would appear that I have a small leak in the middle area of the radiator. Apart from using radweld or pepper or whatever into the system which I would rather not are there any diy botch repairs like soldering I can try before taking to garage costing ££. Are they likely to do a weld or recore and how much does that cost? Radiator for small block chevy. Thanks any advice appreciated.

Try a spoonful or 2 of colmans mustard powder.

Might be completely off the mark but isn' an egg meant to block it ?

I once squeezed some of that black gasket silastic into the core of the radiator where the leak was, that seemed to fix it, dodgy but worth a try.

Recore's are cheap. Seriously, we had a couple done for tractors and it was like £30 or whatever and the job they did was really good.
