SkyHD box issues

Hi, have been having problems with my SkyHD box since yesterday..

I'll try to explain it as clearly as I can. My box stops changing channel, but whatever channel I'm on will continue displaying fine. Whenever its in its "locked" state it won't be able to record any new problems in the planner.

Yank the power cord and it might be fine for 5mins or 2 hours, there's no obvious pattern.

I can't rely on it to record anything and it's impossible to channel hop.

I'm out of warranty now, so what's up?

check Digital Spy and AVForums - there has been a software update over the weekend that has FUBAR'd all SKy HD boxes.

Turning Anytime off and on again seems to alleviate the symptoms (for some) but may not be the cure.

The "fix" on AVforums etc is just temporary - the problem has come back.
