Having sold my Xsara VTS last week i bought this for £180. 92K miles Mot'd Nov, taxed until May 11.

One set of wheel trims, a second hand drive shaft and a hub, and a quick polish later...

Stands me £290 all in now. Drives surprisingly well.

I have to say i'm getting a real buzz from just what can be bought for very little money these days....

Nice work - the PO must be made of money to put up the car for sale in the state as per the above pic, given that it looks like 5 times the money with a day's work wielding the polishing cloth and a matching set of wheel trims...

Top work. Running cheap station-run cars on a budget can be great fun, I have lots of previous experience in this field!!! hehe

What engine is it? I bought a 1.5d back in March for £500. I think I overpaid for it a little bit as I needed a car quickly. It runs beatifully though, and I've just got 660miles to one tank.

I've just done over 10k in mine so far with no problems (expect handbrake cable snapping :@) I'm sure this one will run with no problems too!
