Ant. is looking into getting some new speedos sorted for pre cat Griffs - but they are exactly the same type as on the S.
The plan is that the new speedo will be driven by a sensor on the prop or driveshaft - thats how it works on the later griffs & chims, so the gearbox sender will no longer be used for the speedo.
I don't know the specific details but have been assured its not all that difficult.
