Faulty LG Plasma
Discussion
Hey all,
my 42" LG Plasma tv that was two months old has developed a fault. Whilst watching the TV, it switched itself off, then every time I switch it on, it switches itself off immediately again.
I brought it from Comet, but lost the receipt, will that matter? as its only two months old, will they be able to swap it? or will it go back to LG for repair under warranty?
Cheers

If you bought with a credit card, then your statement will provide the proof of purchase, as would their own records if you provided your address details.
Take it back for swap or repair - read up on SOGA (Sale of Goods Act) so you understand why you can refuse only a repair outside their "28 days" policy.
