indicator lens replacement
Discussion
They are bonded in with sikaflex (a black rubbery substance).
The best way I found to remove them was to tap them with a hammer. At first it won't seem to do much but keep hitting them (not too hard or you might damage the fibreglass) and after a while they will start to come loose. It might take 20 or 30 moderate taps. Then you can just push them out with your thumbs. I bonded my new ones in by using evo stick contact adhesive to hold them in place and then used fibreglass resin (P40 I think it is) smeared around behind. You might want to consider mirrored bulbs to avoid the 'fried egg' look. Can't remember if the bulb pins are 180 deg apart or offset
, good luck!

As above with:
Remove the inner wheel arch panel covers
My lamps pushed in from the front with hand force only after first working them loose with my thumbs!
The first I secured using clear silicone sealant / adhesive, the second with rapid epoxy resin. Both are good IMHO
Some tips:
1) Remove all the original sealant from the inner body after removal
2) You will note the lens mainly pushes up against two flats on the inside of the body – this is where you should really concentrate the glue or sealant. Don’t forget to run a bead of glue / sealant around the lens before offering it up inside
3) Wait for it to properly dry / cure before fitting the holders, the weight can cause the lenses to move...
4) To finish mine off, from the front, push clear sealant into any noticable gap between the body and the lens and wipe smooth for a professional finish
5) Bulbs are 180 deg pins - use Silverline bulbs. Normal orange jobbies are OK for the sides
6) Prep is the key!
