PR interview advice
Discussion
I have an interview coming up for a PR Officer role and just wanted to gain some advice or knowledge of fellow pistonheaders who may have been through similar.
I'll do the basics for the interview such as, researching the company/competitors, explaining and talking about my CV etc etc but just wondered if there is a 'magic circle' within the PR 'lot' and by me mentioning certain words/phrases i'll get the thumbs up!
The other aspect which I've thought about but wondered if It was doable was to think outside the box (hate that phrase) and do or say something original during the interview that would wow them! Aren't PR people supposed to be crazy and creative and live on a different planet. Although on reflection the last thing I want is look a right tit!
Thanks

A few of my friends are in PR.This is not how I would describe them.
PR has many elements, some being graphically creative, some being speakers at national exhibitions, some simply being literacy and 'proof reading'.
It would help if you explained exactly what you're aiming to achieve in PR.
As with any interview, suit up, ask a few questions about the company (showing you have done some background research on them), present yourself professionally.
