Depends really on how successful McLarens update is. If it doesnt work I think RBR will walk away with this one. And you can never overlook Ferrari

Forecast for the weekend is stormy every day. Should make for an interesting race, especially if lightning hits one of the transformers at the track during the race.

Im hoping mclaren have some decent upgrades for this but i am expecting redbull to just edge it.

I think qualifying:

Webber
Vetterl
Button
Alonso
Hamilton

Race:

Webber
Hamilton
Button
alonso

Dont know why but im expecting vettel to do something silly trying to get maximum points to close the gap.

If it's raining all weekend I think the race result will be:

Hamilton
Button
Webber

I'm looking at weather forecasts, and all I can see is heavy showers & thunderstorms for the next week. Not being familiar with the climate there does anyone know if this is the type which is heavy during the daytime, and then stops during the evening (race time) or will it continue throughout?

Basically what are the odds of a wet race?

When it was wet in Qatar for the MotoGP I believe they had to cancel the race as the lights were reflecting off the track into the riders eyes. Could the same happen this weekend?

Would like to see Webber finish well, but I think Ferrari will also be on the podium somewhere this weekend. Also want to see Kubica do well, fingers crossed.

FRom having lived in SE Asia for a while, and visited Singapore during rainy season. When it rains, take a snorkel. It can last non-stop for days. Biblical would be a description.

An F-Duct in rain like that could be interesting; it might just suck water into the car. Cue drivers getting out looking like the pi$$ed themselves.

Or, it can miss the area you're in entirely. But I'd be inclined to guess it'll rain quite a lot.

All i can say is that the weather has been dry so far this week.........lots of thunder and lightening but no rain!

Doesnt usually rain in the late evening but i am sure a few people will be along who have lived here more than 18 months to correct me.

Fingers crossed for a dry race as a wet one would be one long formation lap..............then again the noise of the merc pace & doctor cars would be good!!!

In 2008 it rained Thursday night and that was about it. Since I'm there again this year, I'd rather like the same to happen...but am not expecting to be that lucky....as to who will win?...I'd be interested to see how Rosberg fares - he did well in 2008...

Alonso to win.

Massa to stack it, with a full throttle corner exit.

Alonso make a perfectly timed pit stop.

"Good lad. Sorry".

wink

That will be a bit difficult taking into account that there has been no refueling all season...... keep up.

Maybe Lewis hamilton will break his steering on Massa's car again...............;)
