New Speed camera van on M5

I was travelling northbound on M5 today between j14 and j13 through the 50mph roadworks and on the bridge was an Volvo XC90 with what looked like a pop up 3 lane camera from the roof, no markings on the vehicle either.

Is it a new type of Speed camera van, has anyone else come across this at all?

Hi there

I spotted the same car and thought at first it was a motorway maintenance vehicle and as I got closer spotted the small black turrets that were mounted on the roof pointing down the carriageway. I've got a feeling I've got done but this stretch of roadworks don't have any camera signs up so I don't think they're allowed to carry out speed checks?

Possibly although those vehicles parked on bridges tend to have the three 'guns' mounted over each lane. The 'turret' I describe appears to be two small barrels pointed at one lane in particular.
