Heard this on the radio earlier, apparently MGM are going to make a Bill and Ted remake, with less "woahs" and no Wyld Stallyns

Same writers though so there's no reason why it couldn't be made to work, the only thing they have to get round would be their ages.

According to several sources MGM is planning on a remake of Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure. The plan is to set Bill & Ted as the high school class of 2010 on the verge of failing their history class.

There is no phone booth.

Wild Stallions is now “Atomic Gorillas”

Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves have both passed on any appearances.

According to one source: “there’s a few less “Whoa’s” than there was in the original, and the screenwriter has gone out of his way to throw in a bunch of references to all the cool and hip stuff the youngin’s are into today (for instance, Bill & Ted are worried that they’re going to miss “The Dark Knight”).”
Most totally bogus dudes, for fks sake though

"I am Bill S Preston Esquire and this is Ted Theodore Logan, and we are Atomic Gorrilas"

fk OFF!!!!

ETA: You have to compete with that youtube link to do this any fking justice what so ever and drop atomic gorrilas, you can't air guitar thus eliminating smog to st like Linkin Park.

So, Bill, what you're telling me, essentially, is that Napoleon was a short dead dude.

Death wins Indy 300; "I didn't know I could run that fast."

The second film is most excellent.

And can there been a better credo than; "Be excellent to one another and party on dudes!"

Its the only way to live life!

The thread title is a little inaccurate though - from what I've read its not intended to be a remake, its just a long overdue sequel.

Two considerably older dudes, will they still be rocking on and be most excellent? I surely hope so.

I typed that and then thought it looked wrong hehe After I finish playing pool I think I'll have to put both films on. I love in excellent adventure the mall scene, with extreme playing.
Another great quote..."you killed Ted you medievil dcensoredkweed!" rofl

How can they remake it without George Carlin?

Bloody stupid idea.
