Diagnose my Griff

Picked up car from a service after 1yr off the road, new battery, new immobiliser, drove home 55 miles, no problem. Left car for an hour. Started fine, drove about 10 miles more, left car for 5 mins. Tried to restart but engine would only turn over once as if battery was flat. Waited for the engine to cool then started ok, battery light on until given a good few revs then ok. Drove the 10 miles home. Voltmeter ok until a couple of miles from home then started to drop, car judders but keeps going then dies just outside house.
Into garage, accumate plugged in, battery charged and now starts and runs fine, up to temp, voltmeter steady, even with lights on.

So, intermittent alternator fault? Hot start problem? Intermittent earth problem?

Or the 100 amp fuse...

Thanks. Going to try the 100A fuse, kindly supplied by the garage who serviced the car, as soon as I have a moment and can get the car on a ramp.

Mine started doing something similar a while back and was resolved by locking the car and unlocking again to reset the immobilser.

Remember that the 100amp fuse is between the alternator and the battery.. classic symptom is the battery isn't charging.

And it was the 100A fuse.
Did not look like it had blown but was cracked through one of the bolt mounts. Really friable so I think it was the original.
Been out for a blast. Awesome.

Now looking for a body-shop near Salisbury for a complete repaint so any recommendations would be gratefully received.
