I am thinking of buying a Tuscan Racer as a track car not for competion but for serious fun. Has anyone else purchase one for extreme enjoyment!

There's one in the classifieds which belongs to a regular PH'er (Al). I'm sure he'd be able to tell you of their virtues/faults. They are supposed to be a hell of a track car, though I can't imagine they would be cheap to maintain!

Considered one before buying the Griff.

Decided that I'd be too pi$$ed off not being able to go for a spin on sunny Sundays if I didn't get the Griff though.

Still, if I had the dosh, it would be near the top of my trackday car list.

How about a road going one as a compromise?

Wouldnt mind a roadgoing one that had a roof. I hear the malaysian chimaera racer is up for sale...

Actually, what would need to be done to really convert a normal chimaera into such a car (beyond brakes, alloys, suspension)?
