Discs-Drilled or Grooved?
Discussion
Drilled discs are fine for normal road use, but if you intend to track the car then go for grooved discs. The drilled discs simply fill with brake dust (which can lead to vibration) but more importantly they tend to crack around the drill holes when subjected to repetitive cycles of intense braking (=heat)
Thanks for the advice,
It sounds like it would serve me to just stick with the drilled for road use.
I always used to redrill the holes to remove all the build up of crusty brake dust so i will just carry on with the same regime.
It seems mine will not get enough heavy use to warrant an upgrade.
Thanks again.
