Replacement Auto Dim Wing Mirror Glass is there such a thing

Is there such a thing as replacement Auto Dim Wing mirror glass or do you need to buy a complete replacement wing mirror?
The other half reversed into a bin last night and broke the glass, everything else is in working order
Its a e60 530d m sport if that makes a difference, so dont want to be buying a new wing mirror if possible.

Hope you're feeling rich...I think you have to buy a whole new unit.

The other option would be a breaker's yard and see if you can find a 2nd hand unit that matches.

Also it would be a bit expensive to sack her at this point! The mirror would be cheaper.

I bought a replacement auto dimming glass for my previous C43 from MB. It cost me £140 plus VAT a couple of years ago IIRC

Just rang BMW, only looking £267 for the glass
Bargain i thought so ordered 2, keep one for a spare just incase

Bloody hell, I thought the interior ones are bad enough.. must be a nightmare having the side mirrors dim as well.

I had auto dimming rear view and wing mirrors on my last car. Was quite nice I thought.

Although it's probably cheaper to fire her at this point than later on. :P
