Ignition Steering Wheel Switch

After talking to the helpful guys at topcats racing, about my Cerbera and the ignition not turning off (but engine stops) problem, they think it might be the switch on the steering wheel.
Two questions,
How easy is this to remove and replace? Anybody got any tips?

I have never heard of this problem before. From memory though I cant see an easy way to access the switch (I presume you mean the red button on the bottom of the steering column surround?). If you are pressing this and are not getting the car to power off then I guess it needs investigating - I assume the steering wheel comes off and away we go to gain access to the lower panel etc...?

I think they are just schertur switches - available from RS for under £2

similar, piezo do some nice replacements, i've looked at some backlit versions. but on the list of many things to do. I've hardly driven mine all summer! been away - what a waste

I looked at some backlit versions too, but some were too deep. I'll have to hunt out my post on the versions I found.

is it just your battery light that stays on? (like mine) or every thing? most times if i turn on then off again its ok... ( not always )

It was the lot staying on radio etc, as was mentioned I think the button was sticking on, but the next day no issues
