Whats the T350 market like at present?

Anybody recently sold? If so what sort of response did you have and what sales timescale? I'm thinking about putting mine on the market - 54 plate targa in brilliant silver, 21k, FSH, years MOT, air con, full hide, bottom end Power rebuild just under 2 years ago, Racing reds, JP box, new tyres etc. usual stone chips but otherwise A1, especially mechanically.
We're in the process of buying a new house and will be about 15k short for a 2 storey extension we need to do so she may have to go. Was thinking of between 21 & 22k, what sort of sale prices have people achieved following similar (ie/ looking at the classifieds for similar cars) asking prices? As much as I love my car I can't justify it getting in the way of the perfect house!

Seriously though, if you are set on selling, it might be worth getting in touch with GrantT350T on here who has carried out extensive (did I say extensive?!) research on current sale prices, specs, time to sell etc. He's currently selling a mint reflex Targa to upgrade to a Sag (a man who has his priorities right!
). He's a thoroughly nice chap who I'm sure would be willing to share any info.Don't you think you might regret selling for this reason? How about a loan for the extension? Many of us have sold only to regret it later.
The TVR selling season is coming to a close so although prices don't fall, the speed of sale drops in the colder months. My guesstimate is around 21k to sell reasonably quickly if it has aircon.

Thats a real shame Tony, nust be an incredibly hard decision. Str8six have an 05 with 24K up for £23,500, so i suppose around £21K would be reasonable. Just a shame it wasn`t a month sooner, as i would have certainly had it, but now have the Tamora. Good luck anyway, i`m sure it won`t hang around if you do decide to sell.
As a potential buyer (although I'm torn between a T350 and an Exige) I'm also interested in prices - I was thinking of waiting till Winter kicked in to see if any bargains appeared, but I'll be keeping an eye on what happens between then and now.

While we're on the subject, why is this - http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1606602.htm - still for sale? I noticed it many months ago, and its still around yet looks a fantastic spec.

Haven't you only just bought it?Not aimed at you particularly but I don't buy this 'I can't use it everyday' story. Mine was used in all but the snowiest, coldest days over the last 12 months - unless you spend your commute sitting in traffic there's no reason why you can't use it every day or at least 3 days out of every 5.
Anyway, hope it doesn't come to selling it Tony - if it does let me know if you need a 'fix' because mine is accompanying me to the grave. As I said to Gemma the other day: "I've got two kidneys and one TVR. I need one of each to survive"

Oh no! Sorry to hear that Tony. After all that time to find the right car!Although I do know that a house comes first (hence why I'm currently without a toy

The problem I have is that I work in the centre of Newcastle, parking is difficult so I usually park down a dodgy side street, defiantly not somewhere to park a TVR, which is why mine is really just a weekend car. I've had it for about 4 months now and done sub 1000 miles. I originally planned the TVR to be a weekend car, which is fine, but I seem to have found that for one reason or another, I'm just not using it, even at weekends.Edited by SwampySi on Tuesday 21st September 22:33

16 x 2004 Cars for Sale (10 x C's and 6 x T's)
Average price across all 2004 cars = £22,642 (I excluded 1 x car which was a sh*gged CAT C crash and skewed prices)
Average Dealer Price = £24,205
Average Private Price = £22,448 (I excluded 2 x cars with over 50,000miles which skewed prices)
Average 2004 Targa Price = £23,338
Average 2004 Dealer Targa Price = £23,850
Average 2004 Private Targa Price = £22,997 (averaging 21,500 miles on clock)
Of the 16 x 2004 cars, 6 have sold at an average price of £22,938 (taking face value price only). These were broken down as:
2 x C (Dealer), 1 x T (Dealer - £22,950), 2 x C (Private), 1 x T (Private - £23,000)
Just for comparison as well, averages for both Dealer and Private:

Overall, there have been 44 x T350's for sale (1 x 2006, 8 x 2005, 16 x 2004, 19 x 2003 - 34 x C's and 10 x T's), 16 have shown as sold - taking all 44 x cars an average T350 on PH, any age, any mileage, any condition costs £21,034 and has averaged 22,850miles!!"

I considered mine a very good example in a (desirable) reflex colour and interior combination, only thing I don't have compared to your spec is aircon. Put it up for £22,995 2 months ago, but had no interest at all. Due to my impatience I've dropped to £21,995 and have it SOR with a dealer, just to progress the sale more quickly!
Remember that they are 'individual' cars and you have to wait / show patience for 'that individual' who wants the colour and spec of your specific car.

That's fair enough - I guess that I'm lucky in that there's plenty of 'safe' parking outside where I work.i'm toying with idea also. I've been out test driving all sorts of other cars (996 turbo, rs4, m5 etc...) but none of them are any where near as special or as wonderful to drive as my 350t i have 2 cars atm and have been thinking about moving to just the one. I have the problem where i use it to much that i have to get the car all the way back from belgium, where i live during the year to get it serviced. It sort of takes up to much of my time. i'd have it as an every day car but i just worry about it to much and rack up to many miles to maintain it correctly. all the little marks it would pick up on the body work and interior etc.... would drive me crazy which is why i'm tempted.
But, the problem i have is the more i use it, the better the car gets. i racked up 1000 miles of driving a couple of weekends ago in 24 hours. i had a 5 hour sleep, poked my head out the window and saw blue sky's on a lovely morning and took it out for another 2 hours. Just cant get enough.
This car is slowly taking over my life.....
