Sagaris Suspension Springs

From Gramham's workshop manual, the Sag has springs from Eibach. Rear orange TVR D0884, Front purple TVR C0959.

Looking at mine, they are Eibachs and not marked TVR.

All are black marked ERS 250-60-70
The back are 29/98, front are PM.

How do these springs compare and what have you got on your Sag?

Just checked the Eibach specs and the 250-060-070 are 250mm length, 60mm internal diameter and 70 N/mm (400 lb/in).

I'll have to check the front code again as they should be stiffer.

I currently run F/R 500/450 with factory billies and bushes.

I'll have to check the front code again as they should be stiffer.

Every now and again TVR will fit what they have to hand. It may have been a supply shortage when yours was bolted together that got it different springs. My T350 (an early one) was fitted with Tuscan shocks at one end (according to part number) and black eibach front springs as opposed to TVR specific ones.

Not tested, but I have the factory build information and the eibach part numbers/ colours so above is correct.

ERS-H-250-060-0070N/mm = 400lb orange standard Rear
ERS-H-250-060-0080N/mm = 457lb pink standard Front (G's uprated rear)
ERS-H-250-060-0090N/mm = 514lb red (G's uprated Front)
ERS-H-250-060-0100N/mm = 571lb ?

I think anything stiffer than above used with standard billies would require platform modifcation

and my orange springs were on back, pink/purple ones were on front.
