What sort of power is the engine putting out?
I'm guessign it's a 2-litre engine with ~150bhp?
Purely guessing as know nothing about these cars.

How rare are these? I don't think I've ever seen one in real life.

the suspension is staying like it for the moment as its a soft ride over the speed hump+a nice drive as i had mg maestro efi turbo converted was 2" slammed and it was a very hard ride....

im getting a replacement bonnet soon as this one is abit rusty+got to get the grill sprayed and put a new badge on.

Brilliant!!! My dad had two, champagne efi on a B plate and a silver D plate turbo.
Never seen a car rust within 18 months of being new though.
I was only 11 and 13 when he had them so didn't know anything about car but I know he had the turbo breathed on by some company that specialised in rovers, maestros, metros and montegos. Motobuild? or something similar!
It went like the clappers!!!

I had a black 2.0 MG Efi back in the day.

Bought with 90K on the clock, went well, only real problem was that the fan didn't blow, so winters in Aberdeen were a chilly affair! LOL

few pic of engine bay after I sorted out a few problems with piping and the backfiring it had due to rotorarm broken and dizzy cap naffed+leads so changed all of that and now much much better
