Exhaust heatshield wanted

Hi all

After the failure of my gearbox rear seal last week my tatty old exhaust heatshield is well and truly knackered. Most of the reflective material is long gone and it is soaked with gearbox oil which I guess is quite flammable(?)

It would seem that the seal was rotating in the gearbox housing. I will use some bearing fit on the new one to stop that from happening again but it sure made a mess!

So does anyone have a half decent heatshield that they would like to sell? or is there an easy way of recovering my existing one?

I recovered mine with a couple of square meters of aluminium coated fibreglass cloth heat shield from fleabay. Just follow where the existing rivets go and stick down the edges with adhesive aluminium tape. 3 years on it is still pristine.
