Howdy Chaps.

Quick question for a friend of mine. He has a Mk1 Ford Focus, which has the very common "melted wheel" syndrome. He wants to get a new one, but I mentioned a guy I seen on eBay, that can re-trim them with higher quality materials, which means it won't melt like the standard ford ones.

Does anyone know of the guy, so that I can pass on his details to my friend? I tried doing a search but found nothing.

Thanks folks.

It's quite a common issue with the Mk1 Focus's I believe. When they wear, the leather wears in a way that it looks like it melts.

it is quite a common problem but never heard it being refered to as melted wheel syndrome. To me, it looks like a worn steering wheel, not one that has melted...
