Can anyone recommend a good B+B on the south coast this weekend, I'm in Winchester and would consider;

<> driving for up to 90 mins
<> good walking

Thanks,
Rich

shameless bump, in the hope that someone has a recommendation.

I called the Salty Monk in Sidmouth Devon (http://www.saltymonk.co.uk/) but they were unfortunately full.

Any tips appreciated

interesting but perhaps a little smaller than we're looking for, any other suggestions?

If you're going as far as bridport in Dorset then I have stayed at the bull hotel. It's better than the name suggests but you need one of their more expensive rooms. The cheaper ones are small and cramped.

I've also been to drakes in Brighton. Get a seafront room with the big bath in the room by the window. Come to think of it the room I had at the bull also had a bath in the room.
