Comfortable Car Seat

Ill explain my self first, i spend most of the day at my computer working but slowly my argos brought computer chair has got tatty, the leather is starting to break in places and piggle away, soo i think its time for a change! Being a a budding young fellow im lookin to build my own, can you see where this going yet?
The word young comes into this again, ive worked out that in my life ive been in one car with leather seats, happened to be a kia 4x4. So i would like your advice, comforable leather seats.
Im thinking Alfa romeo's red leather taht came in the 166 but they need to be comforable.
All advice welcome.

It's a very subjective thing!
I really don't like German seats as they're too hard. Loved the seats in a mate's saab. The ones in the missus' volvo don't do anything for me. Missus' old skoda fabia had appalling seats in them - I could barely last an hour.
I love the seats in my Alfa and never get backache in them, although the alfa forum is full of threads about how uncomfortable the momo seats are. I've also driven an older GTV with standard Alfa seats in and found I got lower back pain from them, which might well be down to the age of the car. As I said, I'm delighted with mine.

I have an all electric seat from an XK8 on wheels, like an office chair. Has it's own power supply so that you can play with the electrics. Personally I don't find it very comfortable for using as a desk chair, something to do with how it was intended to be used, ie legs out, arms out driving a car. Perfectly good for sitting on and relaxing, but not ideal for an office chair, even with all the electric adjustments.
The seats in my BMW E60 are ventilated comfort seats, very comfortable imo.

Owned both of these and the Audi are no where near the saab in terms of comfort. I'd add V70 T5 ones in the mix as well as I found those to be very close to the Saab.Comfort is very high on my agenda due to broken back off a bike accident and a 54 mile each way commute..I also have a 1700 quid chair at work properly set up for me so I do have a bit of experience in this.
IN terms of not being designed for sitting upright, as long as the squab is not too long so your legs can bend at 90 degrees with your back tight against the rear rest you should be fine. make sure you do consider the angle of the overall seat though.There are some good ergonomics websites that explain teh best positions for this type of seating
