Wooo, an integrated circuit!
Don't forget it will;
"increase your (sp)accelleration"
" on a Nissan Skyline we managed an impressive 83 BHP (sp)increasement on the track !!"

It does feck me off that ebay allow this sort of product to be sold as it is clearly a load of utter b
ks.
I know someone who bought a £9.99 chip off ebay to examine to see what was going on with it and what he found was the base map + 5% across all tables so idle was increased 5% as was fueling as was ignition timing = disaster waiting to happen.

So they stop the ECU from limiting the amount of fuel it injects. And by doing this, they increase economy...
Anyone know how they managed to measure the 83bhp on track? Usually you measure horse power with a dyno.
I would be willing to bet a considerable sum that 'they' never went near either a track or a skyline at all.Anyone know how they managed to measure the 83bhp on track? Usually you measure horse power with a dyno.

What about trading standards? They are making some pretty impressive claims that could easily be proven to be fraud!
Valid point. Why not take them up on it then? Last night alone I reported 2 sellers who were selling items which contravened ebays rules. Why should the f
kers get away with it?
Hi
This item is obviously pants, but at the risk of being grilled to death by you guys I did buy a 99p (+£20 postage) chip for my 993 off of ebay. I can tell you that it must be a copy of a known map because the car drives so much better (pick up low down improved) with it that it is still in the car despite a problem I have with it. The problem is that the rev limiter clashes with the Tiptronic gearbox change points. At least that is what seems to be happening.
I got back in touch with the seller who said that it was not for a Tip and he was unable to move the rev limit up. He then refunded the £20.99
So, they are not all fly by nighters.

Report them. Seriously if enough of us go on eBay and click report and complain about it not being legit. eBay will have to do something in the end. But if only one or two of us do then it'll be ignored.

eBay just seems to be full of cheap rubbish and its an expensive hole to sell stuff on.
