What would this room be used for?

I've been having a nosey at the details of a localish house that's on the market and I'm struggling to work out what the below room could be used for. Any ideas?

When you've got that kind of money I don't think you have to make a room 'for' something, I think you can do just what the hell you want...

Seriously though, looks like a swimming pool to me. Water goes right up to the rim and over the top into the drains around it. You can see a wet patch on the right.

Or Jacuzzi. Some water based seating arrangement by the looks of it.

Okay, it looks like I'm just a 'tard then! I noticed the drain around the edge but the fact that the doors lead into the main pool made me wonder if it was something else.

Maybe I'm too sensible thinking the obvious thing would be to put all the wet bits together, but I suppose it's just a way to fill some spare space
