Or rather, the telegraph claim that MMGW doubters are one of the worlds greatest conspiracy theories!

The Telegraph said:
Global warming is a hoax - Some climate change doubters believe that man-made global warming is a conspiracy designed to soften up the world's population to higher taxation, controls on lifestyle and more authoritarian government. These sceptics cite a fall in global temperatures since last year and a levelling off in the rise in temperature since 1998 as evidence.

Impartial, balanced and in no way emotive.

Can't see what all the fuss is about. Seems perfectly viable to me smile

And that's likely to be early morning mist you can see as well. I worked in the chemical industry and our site was very popular for taking pictures of the evil industry - dark satanic sheds, old chimneys, etc. Occasionally you'd see them on the hill overlooking the works at dawn taking shots, with the site in a natural valley the sheds would be peeking out of the mist and the pictures were very popular with articles on pollution IIRC.

The real chuckle was one of a chimney that appeared in the press claiming "gross pollution" and was actually sending out nothing but warm air and some water vapour which of course formed steam on cold mornings.

And as water vapour is much better than CO2, it was probably us that caused all this global warming....

rofl We get the same at power stations, the media always show pictures of the cooling towers spewing out "pollution". The clue is in the name... it's water vapour.

And water vapour is a worse greenhouse gas than CO2

Trying to convince the ignorant that water is a pollutant is a stretch even for the MMGW proponents, however carbon dioxide has a nasty chemical name and therefore must give you cancer, birth defects and global warming.

If the MMGW chicken littles had been on the ball they would have rebranded water as dihydrogen oxide and pointed out that it kills tens of thousands a year by inhalation.....

Surely they could also claim that MMGW is a conspiracy considering it's unproven?
