TVR- fatal RTA Cardiff?
Discussion
Small piece in the SW Echo. Accident occured at 1.15 am yesterday in Tyndall St. Collision with central reservation. The piece does not give any indication as to the TVR model, but does say that the driver had to be cut from his car and later, sadly, was pronounced dead at the Heath Hospital.

If there is any positive we can take from this its that these cars need respect and recognise your own abilities and mortality I guess.
I was thinking the same Phil and actually started to type a reply but thought better of it not knowing the circumstances.
However, the good weather is coming guys and some of us will get excited by it - I know I do. Just keep it real and don't go mental, think for a split second the outcome of something going horribly wrong should you give it Johnny Large Potatoes in the wrong place, I don't want to keep reading these threads.
Like I said I have no facts on the story of the accident itself so am in no way making any judgements - just my thoughts
News like this is devastating, especially for the family’s. My heartfelt condolences to family and friends at this time.
For any first time buyer of a TVR this summer, be careful. It makes me cringe when I get phone calls about my car that’s up for sale, and people obviously have not researched about the cars or performance etc. Be aware of what the car are capable of.
I personally won’t sell my car to anyone that does not know what they are buying, as their death on my conscience I do not want…

Got some info from the security guard in our mansion block. It was my neighbour! He's a guy about 30 who drove a light green Griff. I often saw it parked nearby and heard it drive past but never managed to meet him when I was in my TVR. I've been told he sold his company and went to Cuba for 6 months on holiday. He'd only just come back when he had the accident, and only about a quarter of a mile from where he lived!
I think we all drive around thinking it won't happen to us and we are immortal sort of summed up in this quote from "The Secret Of The Machines" by Kipling
But remember, please, the Law by which we live,
We are not built to comprehend a lie,
We can neither love nor pity nor forgive,
If you make a slip in handling us you die!
Be careful out there.. it's not Disneyland!
