Morning chaps..just phoned the garage to update checklist and he said hes got it running and it looks more like a fuel starve..hes checking the WUR and has a spare if needed but is gonna clean and test the old one... Im checking me posts for the runners up for a bag of jelly babies or sweets of your choice...only thing is i think most of you mentioned it..i better call the wholesalers
Also i love models and found this site.. i might get a wedge as its 1:32 scale and from that i might build a remote control wedge with a petrol engine,, i can take a mould and cast in fibreglass and create interior in leather and shape wood for trim etc.. I used to work with moulding and replicating with a friend years ago who sadly passed away.. wish i had some pics..I recently was making rc helicopter shells in fillers and plastics..Well i know its not everyones cup o tea but for those who cant stop thinking of ya car then you can have one by ya bedside..

Im looking into that at mo..although the carpet looks pretty DIY i dont fancy covering the dash and centre console as they are stitched and would look better if kept that way,,door cards also easy..found somewhere for the studs that hold cards on cos mine are naff.. Besides my hood leaks and id like to drive it all weathers..

I too have been toying with idea of making a model wedge, someone about 12 months ago was looking at taking orders for lexan bodies but nuffing happened,i the took delivery of a load of balsa wood with the idea that i would build it from scratch but im still planning it in my head, the missus is very understanding about my model collection though cos im a big kid really, bless.
Hi wooly.. Depending on what scale you are doing it to.. I made a cobra helicopter body from glueing eight sheets of balsa together leaving the middle lightly glued for dividing into two halves.. It took me a few hours with a dremmel and you need to extract the dust..alternatively if your into modelling then get some balsa filler(bonda)it is perfect for building up areas, sanding, carving,or using as ive done as a filler for a mould, it replicates detail extremely well and is light ,waterproof and easily painted..I was making replicas of military helicopters such as the huey but with guns and missles as they didnt have anything like that a while back..With the TVRs i was thinking more of using polymorph to make the mould and making them in the similar fashion they were originally made..Will help you with most areas of this as iam quite knowledged in it..Ive got two minis from maplins that cost a score and i was gonna turn one into a boat..stealth like..Engines are cheap for models now and the electronics are much more user friendly..cheers..zig
