It made me want one more than ever before, I doubt I'll ever be able to afford one though

Just don't understand this vintage car look desire. Looks horrible to me, even if it is fantastic as a driving tool. It will also always smack of a man in a scarf and goggles with a pipe as long as it looks that way (awaits some country and western line-dancing comments in retaliation ).

There was hordes of the things at CLM. I just don't get it. Why would you want a wood car from the 40s made 50 years later?

Although I'm disappointed by the indicator stalks and the radio. Should be aluminium stalks and a more appropriate looking stereo (think touch screen with chrome surround) in my spec of the car.

This model is not made from wood. It's got a pretty sophisticated bonded aluminium chassis with aluminium panels over the top.

I really don't think they would; they look classical.. but under the skin they're thourghly modern supercar-baiters.

I'm with Garlick, there was one i'm 99% certain at Dick Lovett's in Swindon about 6 weeks ago. Black with like a saddle coloured leather (really deep tan).

Isn't there someone on PH with a lovely dark red metallic one?

The mustang is designed to look like a old car really isnt it.
