Has it occurred to you that the reason they're out of stock is because everyone else is trying to do the same?!?!?

UPDATE,
Have just contacted Microsoft Directly, and have been told that they have stopped making the xbox steering wheel. there will not be a new.

so either grab one while you can,

OR

can someone please confirm which other steering wheels are compatable with the xbox, as other forums seem misleading.

Just had a look at the prices of these on ebay and they are going for over £100 second hand. A year ago you could pick one up for half that price.

I bought a second hand MS driving wheel from Game about a month ago for £40 (for use with Forza3) - great investment at that price. They also had new in stock as well. When did this drought start?

UPDATE UDPATE UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK so finally managed to speak with some guy high up in Microsoft today, who has confirmed that there WILL be a new type of steering wheel for the XBOX 360, (this is not to be confussed with that kenect thingy)
We should be seeing this new product around Decmeber time, and will work with all XBOX racing games, (new & old)

So question is, do you wait till then or swap xbox for ps3 as they have lots more wheels on the market.

tough call. smile

Reserved and collected the last one within a 30mile radius of my house from Argos today.

£64.99 brand new, which isn't bad considering I looked on eBay yesterday and there are people flogging them for double this amount on B.I.N! Dirty bcensoredtards!

I got lucky and picked one up from the local Argos last night biggrin

I would be surprised if Microsoft don't ratchet the price up for any new version.

Thanks for the great idea, am currently in St Albans (live in London) and guess what they have 1 let in the argos store. Shot straight down there and grabbed it.
All I gotta do now is grab the F1 game.

Thanks again, top tip.

This is really wierd, very much the same with my G25: bought my Microsoft wheel about 2/3 months ago for Game from 70 pounds (G25 120 pounds from PC world), then like 2 months later they were either superceded or ceased production and everyone wants one! Honestly, the microsoft wheel isn't all that..

I'm thinking of chopping in my Xbox one for a wheel I can use on both the 360 and PS3 so now sounds like the time to do it, the G25s are only a bit more expensive than the official 360 wheels are fetching on Ebay!
