a weeks holiday to Tenerife leaving on the 2nd of November. Has anyone been there before around that time of year? Just wanted to know your experiences on weather and how much was still open ie, bars and resturants.

We are going to Los Cristianos.

I have been there before but a good few years ago and not at that time of year.

Thanks.

I've not been at that time of year, but have been recently looking at it since it's half-term holidays for much of continental Europe that week.

Just so you know!

Temperatures should still be warm, well, warmer than the rest of central/northern Europe!

Thanks guys, like i said I have been before and really liked it, just saw it online and thought it was too good to turn down, sub £700 for a family of four.

Just hope it isnt like a ghost town hehe

I went there years ago over the Christmas period. Plenty of life and everything open.

Don't forget this is a popular destination during our winter as it remains warm over there and alot of holiday makers go for the winter sun.

You have nothing to worry about, it won't be a ghost town.

We go to Los Cristianos every year for a bit of winter sun. You shoul dhave 22-23 deg during the day , proabbly 18 or 19 at night. Lovely !

If you like the beach go past the one in the town , keep going through the tunnel under the road to the big beach. It often has big waves my kids spend all day there.

Everything will be open. For something different I can recommend the place on the front (from the Miaramar face the sea, turn left, its the last shop along the sea front) that sells pizza slices for something like 2Eu. I grab the kids and some slices and we have a pizzaa feast on the beach in the dark.

If you have kids Siam park is a must (google it and look at the rides). Its only a 5 minute taxi ride from Los C so forget taking the crappy bus. Get a taxi for a few Eu's. Great day out.
