XK8/XKR soft top window issue.

Have a 2001 XKR Convertible in at the moment, o/s window doesn't re-set to closed when door is closed - any ideas please guys before I call my auto-spark in?

open window hold down the button till click heard do same to close sorted battery may be low causing loss of mem.. thats the simple answer
