Engine compression psi?

Does anyone know what psi a compression test should give and would all engine sizes be the same?

Mine came out at between 200 and 210 PSI. Yours may well be different to this since it depends very much on the compression ratio, cam choices etc...

I don't think that the absolute value is too important (as long as it's not 0!). More important that it is consistent between cylInders.

That said I seem to recall that you would should be expecting numbers over 80psi, the number will vary depending on the condition of the engine and the original compression ratio.
