Following on from this gem in SCJ:

Funny how attractive women always drive cute little cars.

That reminds me, the wife's Panzer needs an MOT.
hehe

Made me think of the number of times I see attractive, petite women driving big cars like Range Rovers and the like, yet the leggy blondes drive the little sports cars.
I'm not complaining; I like to see it, but it seems a little odd when I stop to think about it.

My dear wife is 5'2" and drives a RRS. I got her a 306 Cabrio for the summer and she prefers the Rangey.

There's something in this.......

My Mrs is 5'1 and drives a Megane 1.4Dci. Poorly.

This has no bearing on anything but she is a looker. Luckily the child in the back puts most blokes off. But our route to our respective work places is very similar and we leave at the same time. Many mornings I have to act as cock-blocker to all the tts who glance across and then decide to pull in behind her and leer at her via her rear vision mirror. s.

Last year when I joined an owners' club dedicated to a certain 2-seater sports car, I was exremely disappointed to discover absolutely NO leggy blondes at the local branch meetings!

the over protection is strong in this one

are you worried that they'll fondle her rear bumper?

Not too much totty at the Daihatsu Copen OC then?

Perhaps an MX5 would have been a better bet?

Im famous for it actually.

In clubs, I can deal with because she can look after herself. But when some tt wants to get alongside her, leer at her, sit 4 inches off her bumper to make sure she sees him in the RVM, with her little girl in the back, I go into full Mad Max mode. Its a company car, which helps.

biggrin

I don't think I have ever seen a Range Rover Sport driven by a man.

yes Even the ones who look like men have earrings and gold chains, so they must therefore be women.

I drive ours. I used it last month to tow an X5 on a trailer to Norn Iron and bring back my Cerb. I know they have a bad image, but it a brilliant bit of kit, well within it's towing capacity and still returned 13mpg (it's a Supercharged). I was hoping to tow the Rangey with the (diesel) X5, but the faggoty poncey X5 has an absolutely crap towing limit. The Rangey will tow 3.5 tonnes.

But then, our RRS isn't a black HSE with S/c wheels and grilles and neither my wife nor I have any tattoos or big gold chains. hehe

Well, one is a proper 4x4, the other is an E30 Touring with big wheels. smile

Blondes in Beemers and porkers do it for me. I have seen more women driving Scoobies too, could be the OH car I suppose. My wife has only driven the M5 twice, she finds it too large which is odd because she drives a mid sized 4x4.

Saw a girl get out of a dirty Defender once, really fit she was; wearing wellies, jeans and a simple, baggy jumper.

ETA: Is it worth me creating a 'girls and cars' thread, or would the mods just lock it immediately?

Your problem is you start out with the best of intentions, but then some knobber will post a picture of some topless bint and it'll get closed and harsh words all round. rolleyes

ETA: I'm rolling my eyes at the knobber(s), not you or the mods. wink

My missus drives what is sometimes perceived as 'an old man's car' (S-type V8). Completely her choice of car, too.

God only knows what message that gives out.

Big car, small wee lassie.

Was thinking that, although the girls in frocks thread lasted a surprisingly/enjoyably long amount of time.

But yeah, I'm to scardy-cat to do it....was hoping someone else would steal my idea. British Leyland did some cracking adverts for the TR7....

ohh..just found this:

ETA: probably NSFW.
