A very good friends old man has owned his Tiger Moth for 40 years so had a party on Sunday, there was a mini fly-in of some close friends and a display from a Spitfire at home. A great fun day with lots of flying had by all.

Small world - I have time in three of the aircraft shown above (sadly not the one with the V12 at the front though......)

Are those Russian things Yak trainers? And was it a replica Spit or the real deal?

The green things are Nanchangs..in fact..the Nanchangs in the UK. Chinese military trainers. The two-tone grey thing is a Yak-52, Russian military trainer.

The Spitfire is original.

I've often wondered about selling the boat and learning to fly and buying a Tiger Moth, what does one fetch?
