I briefly saw what I thought said was a Jaguar XF on the rear but not the pretty Aston like XF rear we know and love.
This thing was hideous and had small upright lights.
I can't find anything on the web.
Anyone have any ideas on this?
Please tell me that some American focus group has not made it look like the basterd child of Gordon Brown and Anne Widdicombe?

Is it a replacement for the XJ?

Yes it's the new "XJ". Not sure about the styling myself, it seems to manage that perfect middle ground of moderately ugly and bland.Which has always been one of THE most beautiful cars!
The interior looks nice though. But I can't truly see it being remembers as a design classic in 20 or 30 years time.

We've had an XJL in the car park for most of last week.. looks like something out of thunderbirds if you ask me.. its a massive car..
I prefer the styling of XF.. much more of a handsome car..
Only managed to get to look at the interior thru the window.. looked a bit bling.. although i could be confused with the panamera we had in as well..

Having been unimpressed by the launch photo's, I've now seen a couple of the new XJ's in the metal. I think it looks great! Possibly not in bright metallic blue, but then what large saloon does?
I say Kudos to Jag for designing something different and breaking with the traditional image of the XJ. Whether it'll work for them is something else - with the XJ in particular I feel they're a little bit stuck between a rock and a hard place.

I've seen many in the flesh and they are simply stunning. Either way, you own a Kia so your opinion on how a car looks is null and void.
Says the bloke who drives a smart car and not even a roadster
10/10 for effort though.
