Hi all

I am after a bit of a favour really. My sister is putting together her portfolio of artwork, she has decided she wants to do a scene of a classic/atmospheric racing shot. What she wants is a photo of 2+ cars racing eachother, the cars need to be of the Bentley Type 35 era and also need to show the drivers in the classic goggle and leather 'helmet' getup.

Cheers in advance.

Nick

The artist Graham Coton did a painting similar to that which you describe, it's about a 3rd of the way down this page...

Also, there's a good still from a film mentioned in the IMCDB, here...

The pic is awsome, but i am after a photo of the real thing that she can do a impression from. Maybe it would be easier to get seperate cars and make something from that. What cars did the Type 35 race against?

Im not drinking tonight, i AM the biggest lightweight of the EVER, cheap night out though. £5 and still enough change for a kebab smile

The Bugatti Type 35 was raced from 1924, Wiki page here...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bugatti_Type_35

So if you research Grand Prix from 1924/25 onwards on Wiki, it should give you some idea of the cars they raced against.

1925 French GP for example...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1925_French_Grand_Pri...

Competitors included Delage, Alfa Romeo and Sunbeam.
