7 type track cars
Discussion
Myself and a group of friends are looking to get a track car to use between ourselves. The idea is to get something relatively basic over the winter and run it for next year to see is a car share works to maximise its use. Then, if successful, possibly move up the ladder later.
However, I have driven a regular Westfield and it is too small, I am 6' 1". How much larger is the SEW overall? I have also seen a Luego Viento on the net. Does anyone have experience of this make and are they larger again? Similarly, are the Tigers a bit bigger? I realise we must sit in a car before making a decision but help ruling out some types would give us somewhere to start.
Thanks.

If it was an old 'narrow body' Westfield, then the 'wide body' is considerably wider - I rattle round in one like a pea on a drum, and I'm 6'0" and 15+ stone - but the 'wide body' has been the standard and only available Westfield for some years now, as far as I am aware.
Depending on the car you tried before, though, you may want to think in termsof different seating or a slightly smaller steering wheel rather than buying a bigger car altogether; a rigid foam or simple bench seat can make a huge difference compared to the padded bucket seats that are in favour these days.
