Driving to work on the leeds ring road near sainsburys I caught a fleeting glacne of a car coming the other way...
It was similar proportions to an MGF
It was similar proportions to an MGF
- Front lights were individual lights (maybe four on each side) in a kind of diamond shape(unsure of this)
- It was white.. I know, not a lot of help
- Centre exhast in the rear
- Gave me the impression of being Japanese (could not be though)

Oh, and it was probably a convertible if it had the centre exhaust.

Can't remember whether it had a roof or not TBH. I've just had a look through a few photos of these. Everything on that first photo looks spot on, but I can't find a rear view that look like the one I saw. Definately had a black trapezium shape at the bottom centre of the car - I assumed this was where the exhaust was.

Yeah, seen that. Wasn't quite like that. It looks like these see a fair bit of modding (?) So could have been aftermarket mods I guess. Everything else is spot on.

As it's a kit car the options for visual appearance are pretty much endless, so not modding in the true sense, more a bespoke finish IMO anyway Edit: Spelling

All true, but I'd also add that adding some "stick-on tat" is meant to improve performance massively, but does make them more track orientated (think Exige rather then Elise). Some upgrades are meant to really help (new rear suspension for example), but the need for it is very dependent on builder and maintainence - some cars are shocking to drive whilst others are great. , but it is rock solid and planted on the road up to 120mph which is as fast as I like to drive. 145mph flat, I believe, for a VVC engined car. What else to say??Support for them is diminishing rapidly though - Westfield own the brand and shut production of the Libra / Spyder down. Spares were difficult to get hold of before Westfield and AFAIK it's even worse now.
As for rarity, I believe that there are less than 75 Libra's are on the road.

For practical purposes, I think if you had reflective ones with the correct lettering then you'd probably be fine.
