Beginners guids, advice please? and more insurance

Hiya,

Doing my first track day in a couple of weeks, just wondered if anyone could add anything to PHs beginners guide.

Used to race formula rotax (karts) but haven't been out on a track for a while and its my first time in a 'full size' car!

Also, what do ppl do about insurance? I assume the track will have 3rd party cover and so any further cover is optional? Can anyone suggest a likely quote for a sngle track day?? (my cars only worth a couple of grand)

Hey Steve what a great write-up!!! Are you going to do another page for more advanced people who run sticky tires and wanting to learn proper toe heel techniques??
