Headlight problem

Hi Folks
Turned my lights on the other night & all was well until I go for the headlight position, when I hit this the lights both go back down but they are still on. the dip & main beam are on but they will only stay up when I return the switch to side light position. you can hear the relay clicking and I tried another relay but its still the same. Im a bit confused as its affecting both sides & not just one.

any suggestions?

Im sure some one will be along soon but im sure there is some diods that control the head lights going up down on sides to full beam.

Could be a blown diode, probably down at the fuse board.

All sorted, was the Diode.Nice new one fitted & alls bright again.
