Thank you to all the rusty's for joining us in Aberdeen, it was a fantastic Rusty fuelled weekend with terrific banter, roads and full of laughs. But! boy its now caught up with me !!! I'll get you guys a link to Andy's website, he did a sterling job following us and he has some great full tilt action shots as we all blasted up the mountain. He also mentioned that standing on the side of the road and hearing the howl of the TVR's coming up the mountain was absolutely awesome.

It was an absolute pleasure and we are happy it all fell into place, even the weather and it was great that the locals stayed off the Rusty's roads allowing our full tilt runs up and down the mountains. I will post more on the blog and upload pictures soon but to keep you going here is one more !!!john + jill
oh no hamish your pic has been super imposed by two nordic invaders, rabbit killers...
the one finger bandit rang me to thank us for ringing him at 1 in the morning, all of us pissed as a farts, trying to encourage him to come up. His did say that he should have, so may be one more to add to next years list.

A gallon or two of Ale (or fruit based drink in the case of the wife)
Excellent food
Quite roads (apart from Wedges)
Endless fun & banter
Wedging doesn't get any better than this!!!

I think we have lost weight after this weekend, maybe it was the long walk from our bed to the bathroom !!!! and guess what !!!! down in Dunfermline at the mo to visit our manufacturing plant and took the wedge Oh and errrr Katie and they have given us the honeymoon suite, more weight loss ha ha !!!! told Katie not to get carried away as the wedge needs a respray and not in white !!!loud n proud

Hello to all the girls if you ever get to read this, as I know the men like to keep pistonheads as "boys only". I had a great weekend and it was really good to speak to other long sufferers of men stuck in garages!! Thank you all for coming to the wild north east coast and braving the elements (even tho the sun was shining). Looking forward to meeting up with you all again for the next rusty event or even before that, Kate
Hi Katie, thanks for a great weekend, great company, laughter and yes suppose the runs were fun too, he he he. You and Hamish did us all proud, excellent, but you have set the bar very high for next year, will need more than a vaulting pole to get anywhere near. I am sure we will see you again before next Rusty. Anyway, good luck with the race and we will be sure to keep up with your progress on the blog.

It was good to get out for what will probably be the last good run of the year, and we really appreciate you all letting us tag along.
PS. Still finding the odd spot of mud but I'll get it clean eventually.
