Wondered if anyone has used Angel Tuning?

Thinking of an ecu, (chipped), upgrade for my day car 1.8 Octavia vRS.

They claim a 45bhp and 60 torques increase for what seems a bargain price of £250.00.

Feedback appreciated.

I've heard good things about their service and the quality of their maps..

Most of the places use generic maps anyway. So hardly matters who you go to.

Seems good value, (to the uninitiated like me), any drawbacks?

Had a 330D done this week...

Not had the claims checked but they reckoned 16bhp and about 30 ft/lb gain.

No reason to disbelieve it... extremely happy with the results smile

There is no point worrying about figures. Very happy with the way it pulls now - very rapid for a diesel and the turbo is on boost almost instantly at any speed.

Transformed the car smile

MOT men can be clueless at the best of times. How on earth do you think they will ever know if a car has been reflashed ?

Simple. They wont.

I am sure they are clue less currently with with changes to MOT test itself which is being discussed elsewhere on this forum??

I've used them many many times. They offer a good service. The only trouble I had was with an audi S3 which kept cutting power when mapped but no one anywhere could work out why and they spent a day at no charge trying to sort it for me as well. No reason to suspect their mapping for the fault.

My 1.9 td gti golf was the best transformation they ever did for me (wow)
