Well the latest one has latest a whole 9 mths. I think its because I am using the car a lot less these days. I also think I need to start turning the battery masterswitch off as I cant fit a trickle charge as the car is parked in my apartment basement carpark.

Has anyone discovered any new bulletproof battereies in the last year or 2 or have any good/new reccomendations?

Many thanks

I fitted an Odyssey gell battery to my 360 because it was chewing up a battery in less than a year, even using a trickle charger. The odyssey has lasted over two years so far, fingers crossed. It also lasts longer than the lead acid batteries without a trickle. More expensive but worth a look.

oddly i never had a problem with my 355 on batteries but did with my maser spyder and f430. maser solution was an optima battery but this wouldnt fit in the cage in the 430 so was stuck with the rubbish original type (fiamm). Note the 430 scud uses an optima yellow top

Hi Bren, sorry i did not revisit this thread after you asked me. I am quite sure the Yellow top i use is the D1000U type. I needed something more powerful because of the ICE system i have installed.
Although there is more than enough room under there to take most batteries.
