Yes. If going to Pacha (and you really should), book dinner in the restaurant first.

a) it's beautiful
b) the food is great
c) the booze is at restaurant, not club, prices
d) you wander straight into the club afterwards without having to pay the EUR50 door charge

Effectively, you go out to one of the nicest restaurants on the island and get a night at the island's best club thrown in for free.

Be civilised though. They won't let drunk morons wearing tour T-shirts in (and rightly so).

Stay in Ibiza Town, avoid San Antonio. The best clubs are over that way and it's a much less chavy place.

And then spend Sunday afternoon at Blue Marlin, recovering.

Do not, however, take the Doberman Pinscher guard dogs that you have befriended (they were guarding an empty property down the road from my villa, I took a shine to them while hammered) with you, while off your face. Long story. I don't remember much of it myself - mostly had to be filled in.

If you manage to get to, or are staying in san antonio, then for a change go to the chinese restaurant on the front. It isnt expensive(or wasnt when i went) and although you could probably find better chinese in this country, it beats all the burger and chips places on the front hands down. Really enjoyed it, especially the open air balcony

Agreed. The only clubs actually in San Antonio are full of the kind of people you see on Ibiza Uncovered. However, a night out in San Antonio's West End has to be done, just to see the freakshow. Then escape to a decent club.

Oh, and if you can afford it, do VIP to the clubs (about EUR200 a pop; gets you entry, booze, table, VIP terrace access etc). Completely worth it, especially as you can go early and chill out for a bit at your table. Bouncers in VIP are extremely tolerant too. They had to be with me around.

Let me guess - you had to subsequently hide from their boyfriends, who let it be known that they were going to bite you?

I can totally vouch for this solution except at privilege if you are there for Tiesto on mondays.
VIP section is open for table holders and onlookers without a table. So unless you splash out for a decent table (at €1500 and upwards) all you will se are other people blocking your view.

But deffo do VIP at Pacha and Amnesia smile

Nope. I was quite outstandingly out of my tree. I love animals of all sorts and tend to get on with them. So I fed them a sandwich, befriended them, and then took them to the beach. Unsurprisingly, the bouncers wouldn't let me in - so I took them back and returned solo.

I think that befriending and dognapping a pair of guard dogs is up there as one of the stupidest things I have ever done. And fairly random, too.

Nope. I was on a cocktail of substances. I love animals of all sorts and tend to get on with them. So I fed them a sandwich, befriended them, and then took them to the beach. Unsurprisingly, the bouncers wouldn't let me in - so I took them back and returned solo.

Lets be honest, compared to your normal escapades, that is definitely random, but up to your usual standards harryhehe

Heh. We got Tiesto table at the front for free.

VIP at Amesia is completely worth doing - especially for Cream on Thursdays.

Pacha funnily enough is one of the clubs where I don't think it's so necesary; firstly, having dinner there first is brilliantly chilling, and secondly the club has decent chill out areas and a terrace - it's not the huge dance hall that Privilege/Amnesia are. So we don't bother with it there.

Also, I know it sounds stupid, but go easy on the substances if you are that way inclined. It is perfectly possible to take them all day, every day. Not a great idea for two reasons:

1) You can lose days. I have no idea what happened to my first 48 hours, but stories are trickling back, and apologies have had to be made.

2) The Spanish police are not famous for their human rights record, especially where hammered British tourists are concerned
