I have a question to pose to you, oh mighty moderators of PH...
Is there any way of finding out page or thread views?
I realise PH is quite a popular site and obviously certain threads get linked to other sites etc, so I got to wondering about the views on certain threads.
Threads such as the Nazi bunker and Flemkes Mclaren must have a fair few thousand views but how many?
Is there a reason the masses cant see these numbers?
Cheers in advance for any light you may shed

The reason that the masses cannot see these numbers is that we don't track them inside PH (they are tracked by our analytics package, but that's not something we can display).
They aren't tracked because the sheer number of views would mean a massive increase in database load, for very little gain.

Rennlist does have thread view counters, is that simply a vBulletin feature that PH can't practically emulate? It is very informative to the user, so I wouldn't agree that there's very little gain. They aren't tracked because the sheer number of views would mean a massive increase in database load, for very little gain.
