Moving house and it means my trusty Seleco CRT will have to go as it simply won't fit in the new cinema room i plan on building.

So my question is, despite me paying 4K for it 10 years go, are they worth anything at all these days?

There's a small but select band of CRT diehards over on AVforums. It might be worth posting the same question on there (or simply search the Projectors classifieds for Seleco to see if any others have been sold recently). I wouldn't base any resale price on what you originally paid though as it doesn't seem to make much difference these days due to the lower price of some pretty good (digital admitedly) projectors available new.

I just did a search and the only Seleco I found was the offer of a 320 model for £100:

Might not be good news I'm afraid. At least you've had some use out of it...I bought and then sold an AE3000 before many buyers realised the previous AE2000 was discontinued and I still lost over 25% in 3 months. frown

If it's 10 years old, I would imagine the CRTs are getting a bit tired now anyway...?
