Good Roads Around Edinburgh?

Hi All im up visiting family from Birmingham, had some recommendations off them as to what roads are nice for a drive and went for a breif play in my cousins DB9 earlier but just wondering what everyone would suggest? and if theres any meets on while im up? had a look through the forum but cant see any, here until the 3rd of october! Thanks in advance

The "Lang whang" from Balerno to Carstairs is a cracking road to drive.

Thanks for the reply, funnily enough my uncles house is just off the lang wang so its the one road I know very well! Know any other roads? I think it was the a71 on the way in off the M6 which was fun
