Urm? What's your point?

People in stressful jobs with financial problems are killing themselves every day.

Where's Jimbeaux, I'd love to know just how proud he is of his mongoloid countrymen putting fist to keyboard in the comments section hehe

As for the story, its a non-story really isnt it? Ramsay helped him save his restaurant 3 years ago and now he's committed suicide. Yes, clearly Ramsay's fault silly

I've worked in kitchens, chefs are all pretty highly strung. Add in financial stresses etc, sad but not that surprising.

You would all make rubbish newspaper editors if you dont think that Ramsey having two of the people he's "helped", kill themsleves was, at least, a story worth printing.

Except the first person to kill themselves appeared on 'Hells Kitchen' which has nothing to do with Ramsey helping failing restaurants.

Not enough, judging from the never-ending stream of Cookery shows on TV.

Editors love to pretend that correlation and causation are the same thing though. How many people have appeared on Ramsay's programmes and not subsequently killed themselves? And how many have killed themselves in the last 3 years without ever meeting him?

It is possible to shoot one's self and not die. As you can see, our phrasings are a bit different to yours. wink

Isnt that the truth, someone in the town im from tried to kill herself with a pistol a few years back and basically blew her eyes and half her face off. Not pleasant.

"shot herself dead" would probably sound better, think as it was in the article is probably correct but sounds to me like she had to have several goes.

No, we'd make good news editors. We would just be rubbish at editing the news of the world, or similar drivvel.

Oh, and spelling nazis, I know the above is ironic - but i'm typing left handed and eating a sarnie.
